About TCP

As a program of Teach For America - Metro Atlanta, the Teacher Certification Pathway (TCP) program specifically works to train corps members to teach in low-income school districts in Georgia. TCP's vision is to equip corps members with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to be transformational educators, putting the students they serve on a path to expanded life opportunities. As a job-embedded, standards-based teacher preparation and certification program, TCP's corps members engage in a series of rigorous, research-validated training techniques, administered by master educators, to gain the skills necessary to positively impact the educational outcomes of their students, while on the pathway to earning a Georgia Professional teaching certificate.
